NYLON - May 2008 - (Page 32) par avion dear nylon, I absolutely love your mag. Every time I read it, my eyes bug out of my sockets. I look rather silly, actually, and I’ve also noticed that the only time I do this is when I read your mag. Every issue piques my interest again and again. I suppose I might be addicted to them. Please continue to make my eyes go bonkers. Thanks NYLON ! N I K I TA I . MANCHESTER, CT dear nylon, Hello, my name is Yeomin and I live in South Korea. I feel very happy and unique to have gotten to know this fantastic magazine and I want you to know that you inspire teenagers not only in America and England, but in Asia too. It is kind of sad that NYLON is much more expensive than other magazines since it is from abroad. But I still buy it because you’re worth more than that! YEOMIN SEOUL, KOREA dear nylon, I’ve always wanted a magazine that told me about killer bands like Ipso Facto and the Kills. I looked up Ipso Facto on MySpace and now they are my favorite band. Seeing a girl band encouraged me to play my electric guitar more. Thank you for existing! YA Z M I N A M A R O CALIFORNIA dear nylon, I’ve written you four letters/collages…but somewhere along the way they get lost before they make it to the mailbox. Anyway, I just received the latest issue literally like five minutes ago and upon opening it, I realized (like I do every month) how much I love it. You’ve inspired me to do so much. You have marvelous taste, which I attempt to fuse into my everyday wardrobe. I hope you like reading these love letters, and maybe you want to hire a New York teen intern like me cause I’ll bake cupcakes! (No joke!) MUCH LOVE, SARAH NEW YORK, NY SEND MAIL TO: nylon letters 110 greene street suite 607 new york, ny 10012 or email: letters@nylonmag.com
