Catamount is a family ski area located on the NY and MA border. There are 33 trails, a 1,000' vertical drop, 6 lifts, a summit quad and 99% snowmaking. The Meadows triple chairlift serves a fabulous beginner’s area with 7 Green Circle-easier trails. Two Wonder Carpet lifts are great for 1st timers. There are mile-long cruisers for intermediates and the double diamond Catapult trail will challenge all experts. Three terrain parks and a 400' halfpipe are constantly maintained for freestylers.
