From the Catskill Mountains to the shores of Great Lake Erie, you’ll ﬁnd wide-open adventures, cool events and warm welcomes. about an hour north of Syracuse, has endless miles of forested trails ideal for snowmobiling. Many routes connect towns where rider-friendly restaurants and inns cater to snowmobilers. The Adirondack village of Old Forge, with over 500 miles of groomed trails and events like the annual Snodeo, is called the Snowmobile Capital of the East. Discover snowmobile trails and cozy accommodations at more than 40 state parks throughout New York. Allegany State Park has over 90 miles of groomed trails—along with 150 winterized cabins and cottages.
