NEW YORK'S GOOD NATURE You can see intriguing creatures, from birds and butterflies to frogs and foxes, at hundreds of watchable wildlife sites across the state- from New York City's Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to the vast forests and lakes of Allegany State Park in western New York. Have you ever gone birding? It can be both thrilling and relaxing. Some people rise at the crack of dawn to look for birds, but you can enjoy birdwatching any time of day! With amazing natural beauty and rich diversity, New York boasts many premier watchable wildlife sites. Intriguing creatures and fascinating places are waiting to be seen and explored.
