Because SUNY Orange views teaching and learning as an individualized process, this assessment allows us to place you on a track toward success early in your college career. Whether you’re stumped by a statistics problem or confused about an engineering project, you can find the tutorial resources to assist you. And, while SUNY Orange is committed to excellence, the College recognizes that it must help its students grow as individuals if you are to maximize your college experience. That is why the College’s Advising and Counseling Center offers a full range of academic, career and personal counseling services at no cost to full- and part-time students. Thanks to our Continuing and Professional Education programs, the College is also able to respond to specific community needs by offering a myriad of non-credit courses, workshops and conferences as well as targeted vocational training. Each year, students ranging from business professionals to homemakers to senior citizens attend one of the more than 250 programs and courses offered as community enrichment. Additionally, our Center for Business Training and Professional Development is designed to address the needs of Orange County’s dynamic and expanding business community by providing courses, programs and workshops to meet the region’s training and development needs. A ddr e SSing Y our S peC i Al need S SUNY Orange makes every effort to meet the needs of its diverse populations, including veterans and international students, through special programs and services. The College is aware that sometimes a physical, emotional, learning or temporary disability can be a barrier to successful collegiate work. That is why we employ a special services coordinator who counsels students with disabilities and arranges schedules so College services and classes are more accessible. The health and well-being of the entire campus is also a priority. Our Health Center is available to assist the College community on health and wellness issues, while also providing primary and emergency care, and educational programs at no cost to students. th e C h o i C e i S Su nY o r An g e Are you searching for the college that is the best fit for you?
