Selecting where to attend college is often one of those difficult decisions as you weigh tuition costs against the quality of the education provided. As you assess the value of a SUNY Orange degree, compared to attending another college or university, consider that the College also offers generous financial aid packages that include federal aid, state aid, scholarships, work study and grants, as well as a tuition payment plan. Annually, SUNY Orange students receive more than $6 million in funds. A portion of these funds comes from state and federal government programs such as the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), Federal Pell Grant Program, Federal Perkins Loan Program, and Vietnam and Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Assistance programs. The College’s financial aid staff is fully prepared to help you discover the many available methods for further defraying the cost of your education. The College is also committed to increasing its scholarship endowment fund significantly so that a far greater number of SUNY Orange students may receive aid in the future. Like many of our students, you may find that the availability and accessibility of financial assistance is the decisive factor in choosing where you will attend college. 4
