The Admission Process ❑ Complete the AppliCAtion Form ❑ Submit the AppliCAtion Fee Applications from prospective full-time, part-time, firsttime and transfer students must be accompanied by a $30 non-refundable fee made payable to Orange County Community College. Students applying for readmission submit a $20 non-refundable fee. ❑ requeSt oFFiCiAl high SChool And/or College trAnSCriptS Students are required to submit an official high school transcript or official GED Score Report as well as official transcripts from every college they have attended. Students who are currently enrolled in high school or college course work will be required to submit their final transcript (including proof of high school graduation) prior to enrolling at the College. The high school transcript is waived for applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. ❑ tAke the College plACement ASSeSSment All students who plan to enroll as degree-seeking students are required to take the College Placement Assessment. Transfer students may submit a waiver form if they have successfully completed a college-level English and/or math course prior to registering for courses. The Placement Assessment gauges college-level skills in reading, writing and mathematics and assists the College in placing students in courses at the appropriate level of skill. There is a $25 fee to take the Assessment. ❑ Submit prooF oF immunizAtion New York State Public Health Law requires that all students born on or after Jan. 1, 1957, who wish to enroll for six or more credits in any one semester, provide proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella. In addition, all students, regardless of age must sign and return the College’s Meningitis Response Form, indicating they have received the information about meningococcal disease and have either received or waived the vaccine.
