In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of medical, psychosocial, and educational services to address the needs of bone marrow transplant survivors. Requires an MSN, current New York State RN and NP license, prescriptive privileges (or eligible), minimum of three years of recent related clinical experience (preferably in an advanced practice role), and related certification. Demonstrated leadership experience is essential. Experience with bone marrow transplant survivors and ambulatory care delivery models is preferred. The position works days, Monday through Friday. Office practices: In collaboration with designated attending physicians specializing in a specific disease, office practice nurses provide comprehensive professional nursing care to this defined patient population. A significant component of the role is care coordination across the continuum through office visits, telephone triage, and electronic communication. Treatment suites: Work collaboratively with designated physicians and in partnership with office practice nurses to provide patient education, assessment, and symptom management to a defined patient population. Treatment unit nurses administer standard chemotherapy regimens as well as cutting-edge treatment to patients on clinical trials. Both areas require a New York or New Jersey RN license and a minimum of one to two years of current related clinical experience. Chemotherapy certification is preferred for chemotherapy positions—or we will educate. We offer modified work schedules and an excellent compensation package, including tuition reimbursement.
