New Nominating Committee Chair Takes Office [By Georgie cusack, RN, MS, AOCN ®, Former Nominating Committee Chair] R ose Ermete, RN, BSN, OCN®, CCRP, is the new chair of the ONS Nominating Committee. Ermete has been a member of ONS since 1991. She was elected to the ONS Nominating Committee in 2006 and named chairelect in 2008. A member of the Metro Detroit Chapter, Ermete has served as the chapter’s past president and membership cochair. She was a fellow in the 2006 ONS Leadership Development Institute. Ermete completed her undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University.
