Office practices: In collaboration with designated attending physicians specializing in a specific disease, office practice nurses provide comprehensive professional nursing care to this defined patient population. Treatment suites: Work collaboratively with designated physicians and in partnership with office practice nurses to provide patient education, assessment, and symptom management to a defined patient population. Treatment unit nurses administer standard chemotherapy regimens as well as cutting-edge treatment to patients on clinical trials. Both areas require a New York or New Jersey RN license and a minimum of one to two years of current related clinical experience.
