Don’t you just love this time of the year in Florida? The air smells clean and fresh. The sky seems to be a little brighter blue. Temperatures are down, spirits are up. Sunsets are glorious! It feels good to be outside for a change, which brings up what I would like to talk to you about. The Affiliate members, REALTORS® and the Osceola REALTOR® Foundation have adopted a community service project for this fall called “Paint Your Heart Out”. We have selected the Osceola County Council on Aging to be the recipient of this wonderful endeavor. On Saturday, November 15, 2008, we are going to “Paint Our Hearts Out” (exterior painting only) for the seniors living at Saint Cloud Villas, Kissimmee Park Road, in Kissimmee. We need volunteers to make this a great success. The “T” shirts, materials and supplies will be provided. You don’t have to be a great painter; all you have to do is be willing to share your heart and your time! Mark your calendars and start recruiting volunteers from your offices. We will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15.
