WKU-O is currently located on the Owensboro Community & Technical College New Hartford Road Campus. In a unique partnership between a statefunded institution and a local government, Daviess Fiscal Court has purchased land and started construction on the first building on a stand-alone Western Kentucky UniversityOwensboro campus. Undergraduate programs include a Bachelor of Arts in history and psychology, a Bachelor of Science in business administration, child studies, communication disorders, computer information technology, elementary education, environmental health science, family and consumer sciences, health sciences, middle grades education, nursing, public health education, social work and technology management. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. Minors are offered in business administration, computer information technology, criminology, environmental health sciences, sociology and human sexuality studies.
