To make these special flights possible, Southwest has teamed up with various partners, record labels, and musicians to bring an experience to Customers that they can’t find anywhere else. Through Southwest’s partnership with “Live In The Vineyard,” we’ve had the pleasure of presenting such performers as Gavin DeGraw, Mat Kearney, American Idol winner Kris Allen, Youngblood Hawke, and more. We’ve even had Jack Ingram (the subject of this month’s Rapid Rewards Freedom Story on page 20) and the ten-member a cappella group Straight No Chaser perform live at 35,000 feet. Aside from music, Southwest offers additional options to make your trip more productive and enjoyable—whether you’re flying on a Southwest or AirTran Airways flight. On AirTran, you can stay connected to the Internet on every flight through our partnership with Gogo®. On Southwest, there are more than 400 Boeing 737s equipped with satellitebased WiFi provided by Row 44. Please see page 166 for more details on all our inflight entertainment options. Earlier this summer, Southwest partnered with DISH to bring Customers (for a limited time) free live and on-demand TV. Southwest’s TV package is streamed directly to most Internet-ready personal devices on most flights. There are currently 13 live channels—Bravo, CNBC, Food Network, FOX 5 New York, FOX Business Network, FOX News Channel, Golf Channel, HGTV, MLB.com, MSNBC, NBC 4 New York, NFL Network, and Travel Channel —and more than 50 TV episodes from popular series available. We feel it’s important to connect with our Customers through common passion points, and we LUV turning our flights into memorable experiences.
