Other than the concept of holding to a promise, there is little in common between Matthew Cordle's confession and, say, Sheen's initiative to send kids in need to Disneyland or encouraging someone to finish a home-improvement project. And that's deliberate. "This isn't about cancer [or any other specific cause]," Sheen says. "It's about keeping your promises." And that's the beauty and the potency of Because I Said I Would, he says.
