Here, guests are wowed by dishes like the fideo negro, a squid-ink pasta with shrimp and mussels, perfected by chef James Campbell Caruso. Or take Izanami, a 6-month-old eatery currently a semifinalist for "Best New Restaurant." Located at Ten Thousand Waves spa, this upscale, Japanese-style tavern serves standbys and unique creations like tofu dengaku, all under the watchful eye of chef Kim Müller.
