She also hoped to focus on priorities including diversity, civic engagement, and global experiences for students. Fast forward to 2014. Thanks to her dynamic leadership, Salisbury University (SU) has become a Maryland campus on the move. Many say it's a great time to be a Sea Gull, noting the University's consistent national rankings, innovative new facilities, and growing reputation for excellence. A proud member of the University System of Maryland, SU is home to over 8,600 students from across the U.S. and 69 nations around the world. With four privately endowed schools - a rarity among public institutions nationwide - students usairwaysmag.com may choose from 43 majors and 16 graduate programs, including new doctorates in education and nursing practice. Undergraduate research, study abroad, professional internships, and community service are pillars of an SU experience.
