With 55 daily ﬂights and 15 nonstop destinations, TUS connects travelers to destinations worldwide. But road warriors and vacationers alike love the airport thanks to its convenience, customer service, and friendly atmosphere. More than 90 original works by local artists enliven the terminal as part of the airport's permanent collection, which includes paintings, photographs, and sculptures. Rotating exhibits mean there's always something new to see, and the Live at TIA! program brings local performers into the airport to serenade travelers. Not only does TUS exude the fun, funky vibe of Tucson itself, it gets you where you want to go faster. In a recent survey, travelers praised the airport for the speedy delivery of their checked baggage, the ease of ﬁnding ground transportation, and the short distances within the terminal. Even the security process ranked high, with more than 80 percent noting they were very satisﬁed with their travel experience thanks to short wait times and courteous TSA staff. The airport's location, just 12 miles south of Tucson's city center, also equals convenience. The short drive to the city means more time enjoying its bustling downtown. Plus, you'll ﬁnd 23 hotels and more than 100 restaurants within just a few miles of the airport.
