"We've seen great growth with Airbus, and you could say we're leading the industry with them," Seymour says. Taking on so many new Airbus planes has helped the airline simplify and modernize its ﬂeet. "We used to have many different types of aircraft," says Garboden. "Now we have a more uniform ﬂeet." So, what's next? "This year, we'll take on more planes, and we'll wrap up our current delivery of narrow-bodies in 2015," Garboden says. "And then we have the new A350s coming, so there's a lot to look forward to." The new aircraft continue to be a beneﬁt. "With new deliveries, our ﬂeet becomes more efﬁcient," Seymour explains. "They often need less maintenance, which translates to fewer delays US Airways is excited to welcome new Airbus A350s to its ﬂeet beginning in 2017.
