Tazmaraz, their women’s boutique, creates a unique shopping experience for each customer. The shop offers everything from designer dresses to the perfect pair of cowboy boots, along with unique jewelry from Lenny & Eva leather bracelets to Grandmother’s Buttons necklaces. The boutique is conscientious, too, and carries many U.S.–made product lines. Tazmaraz also offers a selection of inspirational artwork. As it grows, the boutique is adding a Beauty Bar where shoppers can book a private beauty party; the package includes special shopping discounts (with the option to donate a portion of the profit to charity), a makeover by one of Tazmaraz’s makeup artists, an organic spray tan (no orange here!), aesthetician services, massages, and more. Originally opened in 1891, it’s the second-oldest operating resort hotel in North Carolina. But inside the inn’s white clapboard walls you’ll find restored rooms boasting modern amenities (such as HDTV and complimentary Wi-Fi). And the improvements continue. In the past year, the Green Park Inn has opened an additional 12 rooms and a 4,000-square-foot meeting space. But most notable is the recently remodeled Chestnut Grille restaurant.
