Pasadena Playhouse DOMA Theatre Company Smoke and Mirrors at The Road 152 June 2013 usairwaysmag.com Native Voices at the Autry Led by founder and producing artistic director Randy Reinholz (Choctaw) and founder and producing executive director Jean Bruce Scott, Native Voices at the Autry is the country’s only Equity theater company dedicated exclusively to developing and producing new works by Native Americans. Providing a supportive, collaborative setting for Native theater artists, the company was founded in 1993 and became resident theater company at the Autry National Center in 1999. Deeply committed to developing new works by emerging and established Native American playwrights, Native Voices has produced 22 critically acclaimed new plays, including 15 premieres.
