Miles with

Make your frequent
flyer miles go further
when you donate them
to US Airways Miles
of Hope charities.
★
If you’re racking up flight
miles and not quite sure
what to do with them, consider
a donation to the US Airways
Miles of Hope program, which
gives donated miles to five
nonprofit groups: the American
Red Cross, Keep America
Beautiful, Fisher House
Foundation, Mercy Medical
Airlift, and Make-A-Wish
America. You can donate your
miles to the organization of
your choice.
Throughout the year,
US Airways is offering special
mileage-matching opportunities
for each charity. During specific
weeks, a charity is chosen to
receive a mileage match. For every 5,000 miles
you donate, US Airways matches 1,000 miles —

up to 25,000 miles.
The matching
campaign has already
been a big help for
some of the nonprofits. In March,
US Airways matched
donations to the Red
Cross in conjunction
with Red Cross Month.
The organization used
the miles it received
during the week to help carry out its mission of
providing disaster relief, building safer communities, and educating future humanitarians. Donated
miles helped the Red Cross bring relief to those
affected by Hurricane Sandy.
“We are grateful for the support of US Airways
and its customers,” says Neal Litvack, chief development officer of the American Red Cross.
“Through US Airways’ Miles of Hope program,
customers’ donated miles will facilitate travel for
our staff and volunteers to get them where they’re
needed most.”
