A University of North Georgia (UNG)
cadet has a lot to be proud of. Not only is
the university “The Military College of Georgia,”
it’s also a charter member of the Association of
Military Colleges and Schools in the United
States, and reaches back more than a century to
1873. That helps explain why its current Corps of
Cadets (called the “Boar’s Head Brigade”) is the
largest in the school’s history. But of course, even
that’s just the beginning.
In addition to its stellar ROTC program, UNG
focuses on the total experience for its mix of cadets
and civilian students. With nearly 16,000 students
