The new plant, which plans to be fully operational later this year, has incorporated a complete finishing facility that will utilize a very large powder over e-coat system. “The Electrolux finishing operation [in Juarez] is…a complete finishing facility handling dissimilar metals with different pretreatment chemistries and a combination of coating technologies,” Ron Cudzilo, regional sales manager at George Koch Sons LLC, Evansville, Ind., says. This new facility boasts a turnkey powder over e-coat finishing system that is designed to allow Electrolux to realize the goals set forth in the company’s Annual Report. Cudzilo says, “I have been in system sales for over 25 years and have been involved with and sold many systems, but this ranks up there as one of the largest.” To really appreciate the girth of this new system, let’s take a look at the sum of its parts.
