A: This summer I’ll have a book coming out entitled “Loving Our Neighbor: A Thoughtful Approach to Helping People in Poverty.” We are also working on a DVD with the United Methodist Communications Ministry that will be released this fall with the EcuFilms label. There are other exciting possibilities for how Our Eyes Were Opened will help Greenville become the premier community for addressing poverty, but we’ll have to see how those opportunities unfold. Q: What about this program keeps you coming to work every day? A: I never know what each day’s adventure will be. I get to dream big and be creative. I blend my ministerial calling with experiences of working with poverty in new and exciting ways. What a wonderful gift at this point in my career. What’s your game plan to transfer and avoid risk?
