Backstory Wynne said he got the idea for Stellar, a full kitchen wine bar, when he and his wife were visiting a similar establishment in Charleston a little over a year ago. “We thought it was a cool concept that would be unique for Greenville,” he said. After some thought, he pitched the idea to his fellow restaurateurs, who urged him to go forward with the it. And, after months of visiting similar restaurants and bars, Wynne and his team nailed down what they wanted for Stellar. “Some wine bars offer only cheese and hummus, but we wanted to provide the full dining experience. One wine bar we visited featured a full menu but with a few smaller options, and we thought, ‘why not do that with the whole menu?’” So they did, and just a year from conception, a single flight of stairs will lead you to the heaven of fabulous food and wine known as Stellar Restaurant and Wine Bar.
