The tailpipe remover will also cut sheet metal. Muffler Remover Extra Long Radiator Hose Tool Specially designed for the removal of radiator and heater hoses. Insert the tool between the tailpipe and muffler nipple, and split open whichever is outside. Rusted and corroded connections are no problem. You will get a clean, controlled cut with the “Curl-Cut™” design. Muffler and Tailpipe Remover Here is a different approach to the same, tough problem. The blade has a convex shape, which will slide between the muffler nipple and the tailpipe. With a few sharp taps the rust and corrosion will break and the parts will be separated.
