In the On Course channel, the summary metric of $$ Sales (blue bars above) for the January Year-to-Date (YtD) results were a
much better start than we finished '16 at the "marginals," with both Durables & Consumables showing gains vs. Year Ago (YA).
At the sub-segment level, 7 of 8 showed gains led by Woods with only Irons being "in the red." For the gainers, the majority are
being driven by Unit gains vs. Avg. Price. Comparing the performance of the bellwether Balls segment (Units measure) to rounds
and weather benchmarks, the YtD tally of +23% handily beat the Played Rounds benchmark (+3%) but slightly trailed very favorable Available Rounds (+30%). The YtD numbers are the same given that we've only "played" one month so far in '17. More details
