The elliptical, injection molded, 56-oz container features an in-mold label, and Basell says the resin’s consistent melt flow minimizes problems during production. Blister is available in RPET or PVC; stiffener card is made from recycled material; paperboard exterior cards are virgin or recycled material; and package features a waterbased heat seal coating. Company says edge-to-edge graphics provide marketing “pop.” Pop Goes the Package Evolution Foods Ltd. chose the PushPop package from Amcor Flexibles for its Natural Selection Seed Mix products on sale in the UK. The package features the Fancy Slit easy-open system that allows consumers to push and pop open the pack through the center of a top side gusset. The bowl-shaped, free-standing pack has a wide opening that gives full accessibility to the product. The packs are made by Amcor in the UK from a laminate of 20-micron, natural OPP reverse printed and laminated to a proprietary 70-micron white PE.
