Perspectives on the EI in China
an overview of the eI in china is summarized in Figure 4.
With a background of national energy reform and the
Internet-Plus action plan, the eI has great potential to be
the driving force for a large number of related industries.
the framework of the eI is not only deeply embedded
with millions of smart homes and buildings, thousands of
industrial and commercial parks, and hundreds of smart
cities but is also related to a vision as big as china's vast
global Belt and road Plan.

as the electricity market in china deregulates and it
becomes legal for private companies to sell electricity,
towns, campuses, energy-intensive enterprises, and green
buildings can begin to enter the eI locally. More than 300
smart, low-carbon cities will be constructed in china in
the near future, which is a good platform for the development of the eI. as for the national and international eI, it
is part of china's Belt and road Plan, supported by the
Sgcc with UhV ac and dc technologies, providing a broad
international development vision.
