podría ahorrarle a Gran Bretaña £315 millones y 1.98 millo-
nes de toneladas de dióxido de carbono al año.

Conclusiones
Gestionar la flexibilidad en la generación, la demanda y el
almacenamiento es un requisito para lograr mayor eficacia
en el suministro eléctrico. aprovechar esta flexibilidad para
lograr una mayor utilización de los activos del sistema es
esencial para permitir que el Reino Unido transite hacia una
economía energética de baja emisión de carbono. cambiar a
una economía colaborativa es uno de los enfoques más pro-
metedores para aprovechar la flexibilidad a través del uso
de ict de alta velocidad, la exploración de modelos comer-
ciales disruptivos y la creación de mercados horizontales
innovadores.
Un catalizador clave será el análisis de "big data" que
pueda informar a los usuarios y participantes del mercado,
establecer precios y ajustar la flexibilidad a la demanda con
la generación intermitente a través de análisis extensos de
datos medidos junto con información socioeconómica y
meteorológica. En este artículo, analizamos los mercados de
energía p2p y el Sna para ilustrar el valor de adoptar una
economía colaborativa en el sector de la energía. a través
de estos avances, se pueden ofrecer importantes beneficios
a aquellos que han promovido la baja emisión de carbono y
a los clientes de energía flexible, extrayendo más valor de la
generación existente, de la red y de los activos de los clientes.
