espacial de 4 km. Esto significa que hay casi 12,000 puntos

nrEl utilizó un enfoque físico para modelar la radiación
superficial con mayor detalle al recuperar la información de
nubes y aerosoles de las imágenes del satélite Geoestacionario operacional ambiental y posteriormente utilizó esta
información en un modelo de transferencia radiativa. los
datos de la nsrdB resultantes incluyen los tres componentes de la irradiancia: directa normal, difusa horizontal

En apoyo de los objetivos del proyecto sunshot del departamento de Energía, nrEl desarrolló y lanzó la tercera
generación de la nsrdB, un conjunto de datos en red sobre
irradiancia solar que abarca los Estados Unidos continentales y otras partes de américa del norte, central y del sur.
Esta versión de la nsrdB ha mejorado significativamente la
capacidad que tienen los usuarios para evaluar en profundidad los recursos solares dentro de las áreas cubiertas. nrEl,
en colaboración con la Universidad de Wisconsin y la administración nacional oceánica y atmosférica de EE. UU.
publicó la versión más reciente de la nsrdB a finales del
