The company’s success with printing complex geometries also has to do with the optimization of the pads in combination with the fixturing. “You need to make sure the fixture is correct but also, that the pad is optimized for the transfer of ink,” Beacham explained. “We have increased our technical capabilities quite a bit – especially with our design engineer who works with our fixturing – to accomplish these goals.” On the creative end, TouchMark’s graphic design team works with its customers’ engineering and marketing departments to produce desired artwork. From multi-colored company logos to 4-color labels on PDA keyboards to gradients and halftones, TouchMark’s knowledge of inks and substrates ensures quality pad printing with accuracy and repeatability. Precision color matching and high accuracy print placement guarantee that critical alignment marks, matrix grids, part identification, locator prints, and logos are exactly where they need to be on the part. TouchMark, as part of Delphon Industries, has many programs for its employees including training opportunities, seminars, workplace pride awards, CIP (continuous improvement awards), and cash awards on a quarterly basis for outstanding performance. “The workplace awards are peer-nominated and are recognized on a quarterly basis for a variety of things demonstrating workplace pride,” Beacham explained. Additionally, biannual corporate performance bonus awards are distributed to all employees regardless of position within the organization.
