Please consult your local telephone directory. Licensing Your Pets: The Topeka Animal Control Unit is responsible for the issuance of dog and cat licenses. These licenses may be obtained at the Animal Control Office at the Law Enforcement Center, 320 S. Kansas Avenue. This office is open to the public Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration forms also are available at the Helping Hands Humane Shelter and various veterinary clinics and may be mailed to the Animal Control Office.
