PRIZES SPONSORED BY: PA Chapters of Safari Club International 2008 CONTEST THEME: “HOW CAN THE GAME COMMISSION AND I WORK TOGETHER FOR WILDLIFE?” Contest Rules: • Entrants must be Pennsylvania residents and have successfully completed an accredited hunter education course and possess a current hunting or furtaking license. • Contest open to 12- to 16-year olds. • Entries must include: Name (first, middle initial and last); mailing address, including zip code; telephone number, including area code; the year, state and county where hunter-trapper education course was successfully completed; current hunting or furtaking license number or customer ID number; age and date of birth. • Essays must be printed or typed, double-spaced and contain a maximum of 300 words. • Judges will be selected by the Game Commission and judges’ decisions will be final. • Previous grand prize winners will not be eligible for this year’s grand prize. • All essays become the property of the Game Commission, and the grand prize essay will be published in Pennsylvania Game News magazine. • Entries must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2008 and mailed to: Pennsylvania Game Commission Hunter Education Youth Essay Contest 2001 Elmerton Avenue Harrisburg, PA 17110
