Mounting Your Lights Lighting Science There are a couple different ways to mount your lights, whether it’s on a quad, side x side, truck or buggy. Many of the lights shown can be mounted in different ways. The most basic and functional way of mounting a light is with a welded light tab. Many of the lights shown have a shank or bolt that comes out of the bottom of the light. Some lights, like the Trail Tech MR16 lights, can be bar-mounted and many of the larger lights can be used in a lightbar consisting of 2-6 lights. Color Temperatures The color of light or “color temperature” is rated in degrees kelvin (K). Sunlight is the most efficient “color temperature” for the human eye.
