SideXSide Action - March 2008 - (Page 32) Rhino-mite! that fit all of our specifications. The cage consists of 1 ¾” DOM main tubes with 1 ½” support tubes. The key piece of this whole cage is the rear mounting points that extend from corner to corner to tie in the rear down tubes. That alone gives this cage the additional support that other roll cages do not offer. Triton even laser cuts their name and logo into that plate, just in case you are not sure who made it. Another added bonus about Triton was that they were able to install the new plastics, suspension, and the roll cage all in under a week. That in itself was impressive. Once the cage was completed, it was sent over to Fusioncoat in Ontario, California to be powdercoated. Eddie and his crew jumped on the job and we were able to pick it up the same day. Those guys did a fantastic job. So, like kids at Christmas around the tree, we were excited and delighted about two things. One, to have the Rhino back and two, to have it back with all of the modifications we asked for in under a week’s time. We loaded the new Rhino onto the trailer and headed out to Oregon to play in the dunes of the great Northwest. Over the hills and through the woods was where we were headed. So, keep an eye out for us and, if you hear something strange in the backwoods of Oregon, do not worry, it is just us. Till then, we will see you over the next dune.
