SideXSide Action - March 2008 - (Page 65) the show. The Mules have become such a big part of the family and the farm that they have made all the trails on the farm, along with the bridges, wide enough for the Mules to travel. Matt is currently in the process of building a new garage that will be accessible through both the front and the back so that he can park his favorite red 3010 Trans 4X4 Diesel Mule right next to his car. Many of the Mules that Matt owns are stock units. However, he has set one of them up to be a camping unit. “I added auxiliary lights, an alternator, and welded some brackets on to hold our canoe.” While he hasn’t dabbled in that many of the aftermarket accessories on the market, he is interested in trying out a few. He has even invited us to come up and test machines and products on his land, which I will be taking full advantage of once it stops raining cats and dogs. While they may not be the biggest family around, they really embody the American dream. Even when given a hardship, they have overcome it and created a world of their own where they could give their kids the childhood that they always dreamed of. With a little help from a pack of Mules, they are continuing their BIG ADVENTURES on their 34-acre farm.
