SideXSide Action - March 2008 - (Page 69) ADJUSTING FOR THE KIT: When you add length to your A-arms, there are a couple adjustments that must be made to ensure the proper ride. We had to measure the center of the tires to make sure the toe was set correct (Top Left). The kit comes with these tierod extenders that screw right onto your stock tie-rods. Screwing the extender in or out will adjust your toe-in and toe-out (Top Right). You can clearly see the difference in width with the kit over our stock set up. We went from a 50” width to a now 62” width with the addition of the kit. Adjusting the ride height is important for the type of terrain you’ll be tackling (Below).
