which manufacturer it wanted to work with moving forward.
Another challenge presented by the ever-changing makeup of the marketplace is keeping up with the rapid pace of
changes within manufacturers. Biben says manufacturers
continually add new services and product lines to differentiate themselves from their competitors, and a manufacturer's representative like Joseph E. Biben Sales can find it
difficult to stay on top of all the changes and new products.
That is why Joseph E. Biben Sales places a lot of emphasis
on education to ensure its salespeople in every aspect of the
company are at the top of their game. Thanks to the company's efforts in education, Biben says, its salespeople have
knowledge of product lines they didn't have before, allowing
Joseph E. Biben Sales to expand the base of products into areas such as lighting, for example.
Education will continue to be a primary focus for Joseph
E. Biben Sales as the company looks into the future. Biben
says the company's staff continues to attend relevant seminars, schools and meetings to bring its knowledge base up
to date. With that knowledge in hand, he says, the company
should continue to be a valuable partner to customers and
manufacturers well into the future. 
