Both MLS systems are now running in parallell so that you can familiarize yourself with the new and exciting features and upgrades you will find in the new version of TEMPO. Here are some new features you can expect to find: • The new main page incorporates the message screen along with other functions such as the inventory watch and a hotsheet option that shows you new listings, price changes, new sale pendings, etc. The main page also has a “find a listing” option that lets you search properties by MLS number or address and also notifies you when you have listings due to expire. • Custom search results that allow you to manually re-size column lengths, move columns around and show or hide search criteria. • Shortcut icons link to agent full report, map, property history, email, statistics, and printing options. • Status and price controls to dynamically filter results. • New print options that allow you to print multiple reports simultaneously along with search criteria and statistics. • The CMA function now allows subject property from Tax, MLS or entered manually, a new net sheet report, the ability to create custom report pages, and a library of new CMA report pages available. • A report writer that allows you to copy an existing report and customize it or design your own reports from scratch. • Prospecting features that allow you to print mailing labels from entered contacts, use multiple-scheduling options for sending notifications, send email notifications to email, pager or mobile phone, and use a Gateway tracker to see if clients have filed listings in folders and making property notes. Here are some ways you can learn about TEMPO 5.0 and how these new features will benefit your business. • Watch a film used in the Tempo transition training online. • Access and save Tempo5 transition highlights that you can use later in the privacy and comfort of your home. • Read Tempo 5.0 tips that will guide you through the transition from old to new, and remind you of “to do” items that will optimize your MLS experience. • Take training sessions, online and in classroom format, all held ahead of the move to the new Tempo5 system. By the time this publication is about to go to print the release of our new rental class profile sheet and expanded searches and reports for rental properties will literally be just ahead of us. As you may know, the number of available rental properties has increased significantly in just the last year and so has the desire among our members to tap into the rental market. With the help of a few knowledgeable and experienced REALTORS®, who are property managers, we have developed new rental property class profile sheet and searchable fields that we’re certain will be a big help to those working with rental listings.
