PROview - December 2008 - (Page 14) MLS Update Communication Made Easy by Jan Dean, Director of Information Services Did you know that your broker or manager has the ability to communicate messages directly to you and your other agents via the Tempo 5.0 system? Many of our brokers and managers already know this simple way to keep you updated on your brokerage activities and news, but just in case, here is a quick overview of how it works. And if your broker doesn’t know about it, give them this article as a “cheat sheet”! Under the “My Tools” section, Brokers and Managers have an extra function called “Staff Tools”. Choosing the “Staff Tools” option allows your Broker/Manager to access the “Message of the Day” function in order to enter pertinent office information or timely notices to just your office. All you have to do to see the messages is sign on to the Tempo MLS system. Instead of the normal MLS messages, you will see your own in-house message sent by your Broker/Manager. The yellow “new” on the Broker message tab will let you know that the message below is a new one. Once read, it will be replaced by the MLS standard Message.
