Thomas will oversee the retailer’s financial services businesses, including credit, loyalty marketing, gift cards and enhancement services. Thomas was vice president of brand and acquisition marketing at Harrah’s Entertainment, and served on the corporate diversity strategy team. She holds an MBA in marketing from Clark Atlanta University, and bachelor’s degrees from Spelman College and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Asif Ramji has been appointed as a senior vice president for the prepaid and loyalty division of RBS Lynk, the US payment-processing arm of The Royal Bank of Scot Scotland Group. Ramji and his team create strate strategic initiatives to expand RBS Lynk’s closed-loop and open-loop prepaid business and further opportunities in the rapidly emerging loyalty card market. Ramji has more than 12 years of experience in the prepaid and loyalty card transaction processing industry. Most recently he was North American vice president of sales with Ernex, the prepaid and loyalty card division of Moneris Solutions Corporation. Ramji was responsible for growing Ernex’ and Moneris’ prepaid and loyalty revenues by establishing leadership in key verticals and aggressively pursuing new market opportunities. Malvagna brings eighteen years of experience in the wireless industry, including a variety of leadership positions in sales and business development. She has extensive experience working with wireless carriers and a particular emphasis on introducing emerging technologies to new markets. Most recently, Malvagna was Director of Sales for the Americas at Glu Mobile, a leading global publisher of mobile games. There she developed key partner relationships with several wireless carriers in the U.S. and was also responsible for building Glu Mobile’s Latin American distribution from the ground up.
