Making Connections
Polycom and Internet2 have launched E2Bconnect, an online professional networking site for administrators to create and maintain relationships with local businesses through the use of visual communications. This free program aims to encourage both parties to establish mutual opportunities. For example, an institution can perhaps offer training and recruiting or distance learning programs for a company’s employees or assist in job placement. In return, a company might recommend subject experts that can help in enhancing an institution’s academic programs. Learn more at http://e2bconnect.net.
