Tech Directions - October 2007 - (Page 23) multiple options for creating gradient effects. Select the options that will create the gradient that most resembles the phone you are drawing (Fig. 6). 12. On the Drawing toolbar, select the Circle tool and click and drag a circle on drawing area. 13. On the Drawing toolbar, select the arrow next to the Fill Color tool to select More Fill Colors (Fig. 7). 14. Select the color that best matches the color of the object being drawn. 15. On the Drawing toolbar, select the Rectangle tool and click and drag a rectangle to create the screen of the phone. 16. On the Drawing toolbar, select the Text Box tool. Click and drag text boxes and enter all necessary text that should be included on the phone (Fig. 8). 17. If necessary, highlight the text on the phone design and select the Font Size pull-down menu to change the size of the fonts. 18. On the Drawing toolbar, click on AutoShapes and locate shapes that best resemble the other features on the phone that you need to draw. 19. After drawing each shape, add color using the Fill Color tool (Fig. 9). 20. Click on the large rectangular shape representing the bulk of the phone design and then click on the 3D tool on the Drawing toolbar to add a 3D effect to the design. 21.
