Based on this information, we will prepare the sample notice and education workbooks, if applicable, and provide them to you. We will also help you determine when to provide these materials to participants so that 30 days advance notice can be given prior to when participants may begin directing retirement funds into the new investment options or when fee changes occur. IMPoRTANT: A delay in finalizing the investment options for your plan could delay your transfer effective date with The Principal since you must allow for the 30 day advance notice to participants prior to when the new investment and fee changes apply to your plan. AcTIoN: Distribute the Annual Disclosure and/or education workbooks, along with the SOX notice, in a timely manner to your participants.

NoTE: If the effective date of your transfer to The Principal falls mid-quarter, you will need to work with your prior service provider to disclose the fees charged to participant accounts for the portion of the quarter the plan was with the prior service provider.
