Its proud history dates back to 1883 when the original Grand Hotel, which stood on the same site, was widely regarded as one of the southern hemisphere’s finest guesthouses. The original hotel has been completely refurbished and is now home to the boutique Dunedin Casino. Much of the original architecture remains to this day.
