This puts them all at peril for a dangerous condition called bloat. Since many of you probably have companion animals of these breeds— or their crosses—it is important for you to educate yourselves about this dangerous condition. Bloat is one of those emergency situations that requires quick recognition and immediate first aid and veterinary care for a full recovery.
