Responsible for the development of the P&IDs and the commissioning of the plant. Must have team leader capabilities with strong analytical solution skills. Main activities include sizing of process lines, developing P&ID – lists, hydraulic calculations, basic instrument data sheets, defining the safety-related alarms and switches, designing and sizing safety relief valves, defining the mechanical design conditions for equipment and piping components, generation of the facility operating manual and training operators. Must possess bachelor’s in chemical engineering and experience in designing or operating process plants. Candidates must have excellent skills in basic Office software applications. Experience with visual basic, XML, SMR, and Intergraph P&ID application is an added advantage. Hydrogen and Air Separation experience a plus. Process Engineer: Responsible for optimum process design and P&IDs. Process engineers apply engineering principles to the design, development and operation of chemical and gas separation plants across a wide range of business-specialty chemicals, cryogenic air separation, high-temperature process for the production of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, natural gas and hydrocarbon separation processes.
