PRODUCT PICKS polymerize by heat or uv light A one-component, optically clear, non-yellowing UV and heat-curable polymer system, UV157DC is designed for bonding, sealing and coating applications and is 100% reactive, without any solvents or other volatiles. The polymer is not inhibited by air and exhibits a fast UV cure at ambient temperatures. Typical cure times range from 5 sec. to 3 min., depending on bond thickness and the wavelength and intensity of the UV light. Typical heat curing schedules are 10 min. to 30 min. at 250°F to 260°F. Low-viscosity and easy to use, it has outstanding durability, toughness and thermal shock resistance, as well as excellent adhesion to substrates, including glass, metals, plastics, polyester films and polycarbonates.
