It features a logging function with expanded memory that stores up to 10,000 readings for unattended monitoring of signals over time. Users can set event thresholds and save multiple logging sessions and review logged readings in graphical format directly on the meter display using on-board TrendCapture capability, or download data to a PC for further storage and analysis. The multimeter can simultaneously take two measurements, i.e. volts and milliamps, and display them on its 50,000-count, 31/2 in. ¼-VGA dot-matrix display with a white backlight. wIRELESS TRANSMITTER COLLECTS SAfETY, EqUIPMENT DATA The Rosemount 702 discrete wireless transmitter installs and commissions quickly, and provides users with a cost-effective way to access data about the performance and safety of a plant. Applications include level and environmental spill prevention, personnel safety and plant equipment status. The transmitter supports a variety of non-powered switch types with single or dual channel capacity, and is hazardousarea approved. Fully compatible with existing Smart Wireless networks, the transmitter provides the same rich HART diagnostic data, seven to 15-year SmartPower battery life, and reliable and secure performance as other devices in the Smart Wireless family. The viscous synthetic base fluid and high-performance additives give the grease exceptional film strength, anti-wear properties, and loadcarrying capacity for effective lubrication even during conditions of extreme pressure at temperatures from 25°C to 120°C. The grease can be applied to applications such as rotary stokers, furnaces, hammer mills and washer bearings. Shell www.shell.com/us/lubricants BEARINGS REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION These energy-efficient bearings reduce friction torque (or loss). Reductions up to 30% in friction loss can be achieved, depending on bearing size and application conditions. The family of bearings includes tapered roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings. Both types benefit from internal geometries, polymer cages, precision design modifications, long-lasting grease and proprietary manufacturing techniques. These contribute to low friction and lower energy consumption, reduced operating temperatures, less noise, less weight and enhanced lubrication conditions for extended bearing service and life. ANALYSIS SYSTEM CUTS COMPRESSED AIR COSTS This comprehensive Air Demand Analysis compressed air system audit uses data loggers and precision sensors to create a detailed air usage profile for each specific facility. The system monitors and charts air flow, power consumption and system pressures during normal operating hours over a period of 10 days. Available for systems large and small, this tool creates a complete picture of air requirements including the relationship between peak and base load compressors and each compressor’s duty cycle.
